My wife Tonya Coffey and our newborn son Nick moved from Raleigh into University Village in 2004. In 2008, Zoe joined our family. In those years since, the UV community has always made us feel welcome and we hope to continue that tradition. 

Kim Wangler is the Director of Music Industry Studies at App State. She moved to Boone in 2005 with husband Frank and daughters Lynde and Jessica.

​Liz McCracken has been UV POA secretary since 2022. Liz, Chris, and their two daughters Isadora and Athena have lived in the neighborhood since 2015. She is an adjunct professor in the Theater and Dance department at App State. Liz also loves to bake and sometimes her cakes show up at the University Village potluck parties.

I have enjoyed being a UV resident for 6 years. I married into the neighborhood as my wife Ann has been
a UV resident for 20 years. We each have a grown son. Samuel works in the budget department of NYC.
Wyatt is a student at App. St. I am the shop manager and master cabinetmaker at Precision Cabinets Inc. in Boone. I am an active member of Grace Lutheran Church where I serve as the property committee chair.

Pia is our newly elected Member-at-Large.
